Elf on the Shelf

The charming Elf on the Shelf Christmas tradition is an enjoyable activity for the entire family and it all started with Carol Aebersold in the 1970’s. Elf on the Shelf features a cleverly rhymed children’s book that explains just how Santa knows who has been naughty and nice. It tells the story of how Santa sends out scout elves to every home to detect exactly who has been naughty and who has been nice. During the Christmas season, the elves will watch the children by day and at night they report their findings to Santa himself. Of course, the elves will be back from the North Pole before the children wake, but they like to hide in different places each day to give the children something to look forward to! It’s an adorable tradition to start with your family this Christmas season!
