Charis House is a great resource for homeless women and children in the Fort Wayne area. In  addition to providing the immediate needs of food, shelter, and warmth, Charis House also brings healing, restoration, and empowerment to their residents. The ultimate goal of Charis House is recovery and independence for each woman and child who walks through the doors. A variety of programs are offered including classes on parenting, anger management, overcoming addictions, nutrition, and spiritual growth. The children's ministry is dedicated to providing the support they need for positive self-esteem and healthy development. Rustic Hutch wants to do all we can to encourage the residents of Charis House with our handbag donation and also promote the work that they are doing.
